Are donations tax deductable? How do I get a receipt?
All donations are tax-deductible. A receipt with the prior year's donation amount will be sent out at the beginning of each year.

Can I donate other items like furniture, clothes or toiletries?
Yes! We are open to accepting:

- FURNITURE: New and used can be accepted and offered to our clients. (Tables, chairs, desks, dressers, bed frames, etc.)
- CLOTHING: New and gently used clothing for woman and occasionally their children.
- TOILETRIES: New items only, please.

Can I doante my old car?
If you have an old car you'd like to donate, you can donate it CARS.
How does it work?
Donated vehicles are sold through the used-car markets and provide crucial funding for nonprofit programs and services making an impact in communities all over the world. CARS works with a very large network of nationwide and independent suppliers to sell the vehicle and maximize donation proceeds. This includes analyzing vendor pricing and performance on a regular basis to improve the process and ensure the best possible return for our nonprofit partners and to maximize their donors' tax benefit. For unique or specialty items that have been donated, we may use other means to sell the vehicle to help ensure the maximum funds are received for each donation.
